This policy describes which personal data Minna Parikka Shoes Oy (“Minna Parikka”) collects of you and how they are used. This policy also describes how we use cookies on our website.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

We handle personal information which is received from you or which we have collected by using cookies on our website, in order to administer your purchases and fulfill our obligations to you as our customer. Personal information handled by Minna Parikka includes:

  • Information about orders, such as payment information and transactional data, purchased products and information related to them, information concerning processing orders, deliveries and returns and your IP address;
  • Customer service information, such as contacts and customer feedback;

Providing certain personal data is a requirement necessary to enter into a contract and without providing them you cannot buy from the webstore or register there as a user.

You may object to the certain use of your personal data if such data are processed for other purposes than necessary for the performance of our services or for compliance with a legal obligation. You may also object any further processing of your personal data after prior given consent. We may reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, excessive or manifestly unfounded. 

In case you consider our processing activities of your personal data to be inconsistent with the applicable data protection laws, you have a right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority for data protection. In the European Union, the complaint can be made in particular in the country of your habitual residence, place of work or of an alleged infringement of the General Data Protection Regulation.

INFORMATION SECURITY

We will take all reasonable, appropriate security measures to protect Minna Parikka and our customers from unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of personal data we hold. Measures include, where appropriate, encryption, firewalls, secure facilities and access rights systems. Should despite of the security measures, a security breach occur that is likely to have negative effects to your privacy, we will inform you about the breach as soon as reasonably possible.

Minna Parikka reserves a right to modify the privacy and cookie policies from time to time. Once we publish the changes, the date in the upper corner of the privacy and cookie policy shall be changed to a date on which the changes become valid.
